Sure, I know it is my company that is hosting it, but if you had a site similar to this one, and you purchased the domain name through Ian McKenzie’s Domains, then it would be hosted free of charge also.

Without the advertising banner at the top of each page, this site would still cost you less than $5 a month.

Now there is a cost involved. You do have to pay for the registration of the domain name. That is the www.ianmck.biz part. Now, I registered that name for a period of two years, and the total cost of that two year registration was less than $15. I do give a few “ballpark” figures below as a guide. But the all up cost really comes down to the time spent on the project. If you already know the basic layout you want and you have the text as word documents that you can forward to me either via email or file transfer (I have a file transfer site for larger files), you may be surprised at how little it will cost you to get your site published.

However for ballpark figures, a basic five page web site, designed with SEO in mind, published and submitted to all major search engines, would cost in the vicinity of $1,000. A ten page basic web site, approximately $1,500.

If you are just getting started, and would like a basic, single page starter web site, that you can build on later, then I can usually do this for $250.
